It is situated at an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and also in the vicinity of Hawick, Jedburgh and the historic town of Selkirk. Guests can indulge in river fishing (a permit is required) or other sports, mountain biking trails, golf courses and riding centres being available in the area. There are also numerous museums and historical attractions to visit, including medieval castles.

    As an original feature of the property, it comprises a log fire, two bags of logs being included in the rent, along with the oil fired heating and electricity. The lawned garden is enclosed and comprises a patio area as well as a bench. Moreover, parking is available for two vehicles. Everything guests might need in terms of household appliances is provided, including a washing machine, iron and ironing board. With regards to entertainment, aside from the standard television set and DVD player, plus a radio/CD player, guests also have access to a range of books and games.
