  • Berthlwyd Bach cottage is part of an expansive construction dating from Victorian times (Berthlwyd Hall) and now structured into four cottages, each providing a very high standard of comfort. It is located in close proximity of Snowdonia National Park, Conwy, Collwyn Bay, Rhyl and Denbigh. The area boasts numerous historical attractions, including castles and epochal mansions, plus a significant number of museums and local exhibitions. A combination of cycling, sightseeing and nature observation is said to be an unforgettable experience.

    All guests have access to the vast grounds of the property, which boast flawless maintenance. In addition to that, the cottage has its own garden (which is furnished and includes a patio area), guaranteeing tranquillity and privacy. The cottage also encompasses a conservatory and is furnished and equipped to suit the needs of an entire family (a highchair is available as well). From late March to late September, central heating is included in the rent, electricity being payable by meter reading. As a bonus, for Christmas bookings, guests will be provided with a Christmas tree and decorations.

  • Built in an area of notable natural beauty, Hengoed Farm is a tranquil, spacious cottage located near Ruthin, Denbigh and Buckley, and also not far from the Snowdonia National Park, a must see for anyone staying in the region. Besides sightseeing, guests can indulge in nature observation, as the area is rich in distinctive flora and fauna. Bird watching is particularly popular among locals. This scenic setting is also suitable for photography and as a source of artistic inspiration.

    The cottage comprises a wood burning fire, completing the rustic appearance of its beamed sitting room; logs can be purchased for 5 pounds per basket, the first basket being free of charge. During the warm season (from April to October), central heating is provided by a ground source system, which is completely ecological, whilst the electricity, linen and towels are included in the rent. A wide range of appliances are available, from a microwave, convenient dishwasher and washing machine to a television set with DVD player and a music system. Parking is provided, as well as the use of a furnished garden.

Among the many neighbouring attractions are the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Gwili Steam Railway Park. The entire surrounding area is of stunning beauty, including pasture land, woodland and two lakes. It is an ideal place for those who love bird watching and fishing (fishing in one of the lakes can be arranged with the owner).

    This cottage grants access to an extensive outdoor area, including farmland and the two nearby lakes, plus a shared garden with a gas barbecue and special area designated for children’s play. There is a lovely open fire in the sitting room, which guests can purchase fuel for, the first supply being free of charge. Two important commodities, electricity and gas central heating, are included in the rent. The cottage offers the use of a wide array of items, from mandatory kitchen devices to home entertainment gadgets. Also, if the booking is made for only two people, there is a 20% discount.
